I actually used to have Victorian style calling cards but then I moved and now I have hundreds of lovely rose covered bookmarks with my name on them….and to you, my eloquent friend, best wishes as always.

I adore the sound of your personalised bookmarks.
As an avid reader myself I am very fond of a bookmark. I do find that the lovely heavy card ones of yesteryear make rather splendid mouillettes (or perfume blotters as they are more commonly known).
It it one of may favourite afternoon pleasures to settle down with a cup of fine tea and a great book gently reassured by the scent of a fine perfume coming from a bookmark close at hand.
That reminds me, it’s almost time for tea here in London Town.
Today I feel Earl Grey may be best.

They are so entertaining, and they inspire me to consider the fragrances I wear, to try to put into words the feelings and imagery they conjure up in my imagination. How strange…last night I read a perfumed letter and today it is gone. Maybe it was a glitch, a mistake that has now been corrected, but it came right upon the heels of my watching Orlando again, this time on dvd (the film with Tilda Swinton) and I thought, “how fitting to a T!” And now it’s gone.
